The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is by Cassandra Clare. Clary Fray stumbled into the mystical land of shadow hunters. When she finds out who she is will she explore her world and her race as well as the possibilities of being a shadow hunter. The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is about how Clary Fray learns her real heritage. Clary is not just a fragile, weak human she is a shadow hunter. Will she export her origins? Clary's mother goes missing and everything changes. She enrolls the help of the handsome, blonde shadow hunter, Jace who she is immediately taken to even though he is extremely arrogant and narcissistic. She thought nothing else could be worse than the situation she was in, only to find out her father is set on destroying their world. The further she explores the more danger she is put in. At the end of the book Clary finds out Jace is her brother. Nothing will ever be the same! This is a heart stopping book that you won't want to put down. I have read the first four books and they are all amazing books. Cassandra Clare really out did herself. I recommend this for young teenagers who like supernatural, romance, mystery books. I hope you like this as much as I did! Enjoy! Reviewed by Alexandra aged 11
