The Enchanted Wood by Enid Blyton

At the start there are three children Joe, Beth, and Frannie. They just moved house because their dad had a job in the country. They were very excited to explore the woods. The woods seemed different and strange until they saw some elfs having a meeting. Then an ugly gnome crept up and stole the elfs bag. Then the three children ran after the gnome then the gnome ran up the tree but they didn't go up tree becasue the gnome said not to. The next week they want to go up the tree so the next week they went up the tree they saw doors of peoples house. First they knocked at a door on the first level then Dame Washalot's water came down and Frannie got splashed she was soaking wet and crying too. Then they went to the top level and met a guy called Moon-Face. Then they went to the very very very top and they went through the Cloud it was round and round land. Reviewed by Scarlett(7)
