Lord of the Rings (Book 1) by J.R.R. Tolkien

Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring is a great book where Frodo Baggins (the main character) is forced to escape his home of the Shire with Samwise Gamgee (Frodos gardener) They must escape so they can destroy the One Ring into a volcano called Mount Doom in the enemies land of Mordor. On the road they encounter their friends Merriadoc Brandybuck and Peregrin Took who join them on their quest to destroy the Ring. Then Black Riders came. They were looking for the Ring. The Black Riders were once men but they took Rings for their own and turned into ring-wraiths. There are nine black riders. In the tavern of the Prancing Pony in the town of Bree they meet Strider who helps them on their way. First they must go to Rivendell. When they finally arrived at Rivendell , Frodo had been stabbed by the Black Riders sword so he had to be saved by Elrond the leader of the Elves of Rivindell. Then the Fellowship was made the members are Gimli the Dwarf, Legolas the Elf, Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin-the hobbits and Acagorn (Strider) and Boromir the Men. The rest of this amazing story is to be read by you. I recommend Tolkien's book to anyone and everyone. Reviewed by Angus
