The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is by C.S. Lewis. It is about how Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter defeat the White Witch. Can they discover the real Narnia that is not under the influence of the White Witch? Lucy discovers the magic wardrobe while they are playing hide and seek. She hides in it and discovers Narnia where she meets a faun called Mr Tumnus. Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter go into Narnia where they meet Mr and Mrs Beaver, who must get the children to Aslan. Edmund betrays them and goes to the White Witch who throws him into the dungeons. The children and Aslan's followers rescue Edmund. In the last battle Aslan and Edmund defeat the witch and her reign ends. When the children reach Cair Paravel they become kings and queens. I liked how in the book you had such a clear picture of what was happening. I also loved how you did not know what would happen next. In some books you can figure out what happens next. I would recommend this book to people who are able to understand books very well and aslo have a big vocabulary. Reviewed by Alexandra(10)
