Alice Miranda on holiday by Jacqueline Harvey

Alice Miranda on holiday was a really good book, when you start reading it you never stop. From the very beginning its so interesting. She has just finished her first term at boarding school and invited her friend Jacinta to stay at her house. They go and visit Alice Miranda's friends and discover a stranger. The stranger is very rude. Things get bad when an intruder is in their garden. They find out the intruder is trying to steal the recipe. In the end the intruder gets caught! Reviewed by Frances(10)

You probably don't know this but I was a teacher at Gib Gate in Mittagong for over ten years in the 1990's and used to live in Bowral too. It's a beautiful part of the world.
